Full Day Archery + Climbing - Easter
When?
Wednesday 15th April 2026: 09:00 - 16:00
Who is this for?
Ages 8-16.
How does it work?
Our full day programmes run from 9am - 4pm. Arrive at your booked time where our instructors will check you in, making sure that all the necessary medical consent forms are completed then parents are free to leave, returning ready for pickup at the end of the session. As this activity is split across locations, we minibus to and from our centre.
What to expect?
Spend the morning mastering limestone cliffs: warm up, learn footwork, handholds, body position and clipping, then tackle steeper routes as confidence grows. Each climb is a puzzle—read the route, plan moves, celebrate small wins. Instructors give playful guidance and belaying practice so you trust your partner and yourself. Finish with a heart‑racing abseil back to solid ground. For the rest of the day, you’ll get a chance to channel your inner Robin Hood as you embark on an exciting journey to learn essential archery skills, practising stance, aim and release until you’re hitting the bullseye in no time. Unleash your sense of adventure, embrace the fresh air and make lasting memories in the great outdoors.
What do I need?
Make sure to bring old comfortable fitting clothes (not jeans) you don’t mind getting damp and muddy. If you got some wellies, great bring them along, if not we have that sorted. Also,a towel and a change of clothes would be useful. And of course lunch, water bottle and snacks.
Where does it happen?
In the Mendip Hills and at our Sea Mills centre, but our instructors will minibus the group from Pooles Wharf Outdoor Activity Centre, Hotwell Road, Bristol, BS8 4RU
