Who is this for?

Ages 8-16.

How does it work?

Our full day programmes run from 9am - 4pm. Arrive at your booked time where our instructors will check you in, making sure that all the necessary medical consent forms are completed then parents are free to leave, returning ready for pickup at the end of the session.

What to expect?

Spend the day with us learning about the basic paddling techniques and enjoy playing fun, confidence-building games that encourage balance, agility and teamwork. Whether you’re brand new too kayaking and paddleboarding or looking to refine your skills, our engaging activities will help you feel comfortable and excited on the water. After that, you’ll work with your team mates to build a raft (that doesn’t fall apart) and paddle your team to victory.

What do I need?

We don’t use wetsuits for our sessions but you are welcome to wear your own, otherwise, you’ll just need some old clothing you don’t mind getting wet along with closed toe trainers/daps/water shoes, a towel and a change of clothes. And of course lunch, water bottle and snacks.

Where does it happen?

Pooles Wharf Outdoor Activity Centre, Hotwell Road, Bristol, BS8 4RU.
